EP53 – A Fast and Furious Franchise Sequel

It’s high speed hijinks as the SequelQuest crew takes on The Fast and The Furious franchise. A high octane movie series that has spawned 8 sequels over 16 years, with no finish line in sight. Stars like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Gal Gadot and Michelle Rodriguez hitting high speeds on the big screen, the films have grossed billions of dollars worldwide.
So where in the world can Adam, Jeff and Jeramy take The Fast and The Furious when they get behind the wheel? Better strap in tight, because the boys are back in town and wild ideas abound. Dominic Toretto in a post apocalyptic wasteland? A super team of pop culture automobiles? The inevitable adventure in space…with Nicolas Cage? It’s all here as we put SequelQuest in gear. So listen now!
Also, keep an eye out for a bonus episode where we’ll be interviewing a former street racing enthusiast who was on the starting line in the early 2000’s when this fast and furious lifestyle was making headway in pop culture.
We went too FAST on our latest show, Episode 53, and FURIOUSLY concocted a sequel:
FURIOUSLY FATAL: Fast & Furious 9
Cipher is back, but she’s not alone. This time, she brought backup. The only way to fight a man who would do anything for ‘his family,’ is to bring in someone whose love of his family rivals it. Enter Memphis Raines & The Twins, a couple of retro lovin’, good ol’ boys making their way the only way they know how, but that’s just a little bit more than the law will allow.
Cipher has taken over the ISS, reconfigured it, and made it nuclear capable. Finally accomplishing her plan of “holding the world leaders accountable.”
Mr Nobody brings in Dom & the Family to take her down. Most of the Family will head for North Dakota to take down Raines, the Twins, &a the command center she’s been operating out of recently.
Dom, Hobbs, and the Shaw brothers are headed to Space to retake the ISS.
Who will make it out alive? Who won’t?
Listen in to see what we came up with & where we would take the series next!
