We’re heading back to the 80s for detention in the latest episode of SequelQuest to discuss a sequel to the classic teen angst film, The Breakfast Club. In 1985 John Hughes assembled a young cast that included Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall and Ally Sheedy for a movie that empowered the new generation. Hughes even had plans to film sequels every ten years that never came to pass, so now it’s time for the SequelQuest crew to step up.
Joined by Steven from smbmovie.com, Adam, Jeff and Jeramy talk about their high school experiences before pitching a direct follow-up film set in detention the next Saturday, a reboot set in the modern day and even a 90s sitcom TV movie that you have to hear to believe.
