EP92 | Ghostbusters Answer The Call Sequel
In 2016 one movie rocked the internet to its core, causing upheavals of biblical proportions (real wrath of God type stuff) all throughout cyberspace that pit brother against sister, movie fan against movie fan, suddenly it was dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA that set YouTube comment sections aflame. This movie was Ghostbusters: Answer The Call starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth and Directed by Paul Feig.
The announcement just weeks ago of a new Ghostbusters film to be released in 2020 helmed by Jason Reitman, son of the original film’s director, Ivan Reitman was the final nail in the coffin for this failed franchise. But what if the female Ghostbusters crew had been brought back for one more supernatural adventure?
Join the SequelQuest crew with returning guests, Christin and Emily as we dive deep into the controversy surrounding the gender swapped Ghostbusters reboot, then bring you tales of dates with ghosts, Gozer cults and would you believe, a giant Kim Kardashian? Yeah, you won’t want to miss this episode. When a movie’s fake, but it might be good, who you gonna call? Se-quelQuest!
